About the role

Build responsive web apps with React.js and Next.js, cross-platform mobile apps with React Native, and the Node.js / Python APIs and AWS infrastructure behind them.

Roles and responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js.
Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Node.js and Python.
Integrate frontend with backend services and third-party APIs.
Work with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway) for application deployment and hosting.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver pixel-perfect implementations.
Debug and resolve issues in both frontend and backend code.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with proper version control (Git).
Participate in code reviews, Agile sprints, and standups to ensure smooth delivery.

Required skills and qualifications

Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Proficiency in React.js (hooks, context API, lifecycle methods) and Next.js (SSR, SSG, routing, API routes).
UI libraries: Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Styled Components.
Hands-on experience with Node.js (Express.js, NestJS preferred) and Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
Understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront).
Git/GitHub/GitLab, unit testing basics (Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha/Chai) and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).

Good to have

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Docker fundamentals.
